Meet Ybens. He's a future leader of Haiti! Ybens is my youngest student. During my visit to see my students we shopped at the local street market. Ybens was our head chef. He loves cooking and spent several hours cleaning fruits and veggies to prepare a delicious meal for us. Ybens is a serious student and one day hopes to be a great chef in Haiti! Vicki’s Vision is guided by some basic, yet demanding principles. I do not give time, energy, assistance or money blindly to those who ask. Rather, I attempt to instill a sense of pride, personal growth, creativity and ownership in the students who express a committed interest in making their lives better. I measure success by how my investments have changed a single individual and by extension their family. It is my sincere hope that my efforts outlast and preserver far beyond my mortal life.
